Go Jump in the Lake

29 Oct

The blog-master apologises for the lack of photos in this blog post…  it was supposed to have had pictures of the younger youngling’s first ever rowing regatta…

However, the blog-master fell into the lake trying to take a photo, (in front of son and friends and several hundred other spectators) and drowned his cellphone, so once the memory chip has been extracted and dried out, there may be photos in a later post.

Hot Tip:  Do not stand on the slippery edge of the lake wall and lean out, trying to take a photo of son and friends sitting on the same edge of the lake wall and expect to remain dry.

Now where is the nearest cellphone shop…

My mommy laughs as years ago, she did the same thing with a then, very expensive video camera!

Current Status: Browsing for new cellphone, that does not require an upgrade to existing plan, and does not cost more than $200.

Oh yeah… and it has to have a kick ass camera… Nokia Lumia 800 is looking good with a 8 MPix old phone has a 5 MPix…

Oops, Craig. For that reason alone I refuse to take camera equipment in any small boat/canoe you have to exercise some physical prowess to climb in and out of. I’ll now add cellphones to the “do not carry” list.

And now, you no doubt have another camera, the Ambassador will help you celebrate that acquisition by allowing a State Portrait of Himself which will be posted.
